Jagger is a 1-year-old Boxer in Escalante, UT, who needs $2,000 for Neurological Exam.

It took me 9 long yrs before I was ready to bring another Boxer into my life. The loss of my other one took so much out of me. I found this jewel last Dec. He was 3 months old, he waited just for me to find him. Coming up with his name "Jagger" was perfect from the song lyrics " You got the moves like Jagger". He has been the most loving and energetic little guy there is. He stole my heart!!

Jagger and I have a bond that I've never experienced with another animal or person. The joy he has given me has saved me from depression. Being able to go on hikes together daily was such a blessing to me. It got me out and him the exercise he needs. Jagger sleeps in his bed next to mine. On days he is feeling poorly, he is in my arms in my bed. Sadly, it is almost nightly now for the last month.

Special is an understatement for what he means to me. He fills my heart with love. There is nothing greater than the hugs and kisses he has for me. The happiness he shows when I return home. I know he loves me as much as I do him. Catching bubbles has been a favorite activity, him knowing to not leave the yard to visit the neighbor is too funny. He looks at me, I tell him to stay, then he goes!!

Last month Jagger has struggled with health issues. Unknown reasons for fevers, he is lame, not being able to use his back leg. Unexplainable as to why. 5 vet visits to Kanab Animal Hospital this month. Meds given and changed ea time. ER runs 3 hrs away for fever over 104 to save his life. Last week seizures started. Vet wants speciality care to Med Vet 6 hrs away. They can't provide care needed

I'm dependent on SS income to care for us. Used up my savings on vet care. Single and 64 now. I'd be lost w/o my boy, my love, my joy. I cry nightly for my him as he suffers. I pray like I've never prayed before to find out what the problems he is facing. I can't lose him!
