Jagger is a 2-year-old Boxer in Hickory, NC, who needs $1,000 for Neutering and Basic Vetting.

On 11/4 this handsome boxer showed up at our apartment complex . The kids were teasing him and he was scared! I set with him for 15-20 minutes and got him calmed! We brought him in to our place and posted him on all last found sites and checked to see if he was microchipped he wasn’t! We had most our first boxer in January of 2023! Oh he I miss her! She was my ESA so it was difficult!

He instantly became attached to us and my husbands ESA boxer who was very shy and didn’t interact well with other pets! Suddenly had a best friend! They follow each other every where and cry when separated! He instantly became attached to me and reminded me so much of everything my girl did which made it even harder. We knew we had to keep him and it is the best decision we have made!

He is so special as I feel my girl we lost in January of 2022 sent him . Everything he does reminds me of her. He helps me get through each day as I have severe depression and anxiety and he is my emotional support dog. He knows just when to comfort and be there to get me through the rough times. I am also a diabetic and sometimes when I don’t realize my sugar is high he seems to know!

We live on a fixed income as my husband can’t work and gets a small ssi check and I have applied for SSI but currently work VERY Pt! We would like to get him fixed and vetted as we don’t know much about his previous background since he was dumped off at our complex! He hasn’t been to our regular vet as we can’t afford it but we did take him to look w cost clinic to get basic shots and rabies

As I stated we live in a fixed income. Being able to get him neutered and the proper vetting to know he is healthy can give me a peace of mind and I can focus better on him as I know he will be around to help me for years to come. Any help is greatly appreciated
