Jagger is a 5-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for IV fluids & antibiotics for an unknown viral infection.

Jagger is 5 months old and came to live with us the end of January. I woke up to two torn up rugs and Jagger was vomiting and had diarrhea. I took him to my vet thinking he ingested a piece of the rug after x-rays showing nothing and my vet keeping him overnight they sent him home. He continue to be very sick and I took him back in on Monday. He has been x-ray again showing nothing, tested for parvo with 3 negatives and we are awaiting for results on Distemper. He is very sick his white blood cells went from 400 to 700 to 2,000 to 4,400. He is being forced fed, IV Fluids and IV Antibiotics. We still do not have an answer. I keep Health Insurance on my dogs and unfortunately I had just bought health insurance for Jagger, but it had a two week waiting period and it won't cover what has happened prior.
