About this campaign
Jagger came into our lives 6 years ago. We brought him to his new home in the mountains and introduced him to his "sister"; the cat. A few chases around the kitchen & they settled in to an amiable relationship. We didn't name him Jagger, but the name suited him so well, we kept it. He has many nicknames: Jaggles, Sir Jags, Pupples, Flupples (fluffy-pupples).
Jagger is a member of our family. He loves nothing more than to hang out with everyone in his pack (us) no matter where we are or what we are doing. When the 5 of us are together, Jagger is the happiest. He plays gently with our two children, 'talks' to us, and communicates volumes through his big brown eyes and deep howls and yowls.
Everyone LOVES Jagger. He is an exceptional dog. So friendly. A lover, not a fighter, Loves children and other dogs. He will study our eyes when we speak to him as if he is understanding what we are saying. He loves going for runs in the forest. He has a special knack for finding piles of bear poo to roll in or a coyote's leftover supper to parade around proudly.
This past summer we felt a lump on his neck. The vet thought it may be a fatty tumor and advised we monitor it. The lump grew in the following weeks, so the vet aspirated it and determined it contained 'Mesenchymal Cells'. These cells are present in cancerous tumors and some benign tumors. A plan was made to remove the tumor in order to biopsy it. Please keep good thoughts it is a benign lump!
