I'm disabled and about 16 months ago started feeling like nothing mattered with no reason to get up in the mornings. Then Jake came into my life, turned it around and gave it meaning again; I've even been able to lose some necessary weight (77 lbs.) for my health. Jake has become my best fur buddy in the world. We do most everything together and he goes everywhere with me that allows pets. He sleeps beside me, we eat breakfast together, go on lots of walks (no matter the weather), he loves to play in the snow, play tug of war with his toys, watch the Chicago Cubs games and his most favorite game to play is hide and seek (he loves to try and find where I'm hiding). He's super smart; can say "out" and loves hugs and kisses. He's a very people oriented dog and especially loves my dad. He can't wait to see him and anytime dad calls, Jake thinks he's at the door and runs to it waiting for it to open. I don't think there hasn't been anyone Jake has met that hasn't fallen instantly in love with him. I'm so thankful that God provided me the means and brought Jake into my life at the time I was at such a low place.
