I got my boy Jake after my mother had passed away from an elderly neighbor who needed to rehome him He came into my life when we both needed someone to love and became fast friends he was there every step of the way while i was grieving we were able to comfort each other

Jake has been a healthy dog up until recently i took him to the Hillsboro Veterinary Clinic for a cough at first we thought he had the flu since it has been going around but the vet discovered it was really congestive heart failure which can be managed giving him some more years with me if i can raise some funds for his care

My boy is such a sweetheart he a huge snuggler and lover whenever I return home we play a game we call wiggling your butt he will flip around backwards wiggle his behind like crazy and walking backwards to you if i do it to him at the same time it just makes him more excited

Due to a major accident a few months after getting Jake i am having ongoing surgeries and treatments myself I've had to pay for all my care myself this has involved numerous neck / back heart surgeries My boy has been there for me thru it all my lifeline to keep going
