Jake is a 10-year-old Golden Retriever in Neptune City , NJ, who needs $2,000 for Carboplatin Chemotherapy.

Jake is our first golden boy , he came into our lives when he was 10 weeks old and has completely stolen my heart. His golden sister Kayleigh Lynn is 6 months older than him and takes such good care of him. Jake is 105 lbs of complete unconditional love. He is just the sweetest boy and always knows when we need to just love on him.

Jake loves to swim. He has his only little pool that he will just lay in forever. Jake used to sleep upstairs in his human sisters bed but his arthritis prevents him from doing stairs any more. So he now sleeps in his Big Barker Bed that was donated to him in the living room with me. He is always close to his sister Kayleigh Lynn.

I am disabled and on a fixed income. My daughter is helping but lost a few months of work from Covid-19 (she is now back to work but we are just so behind on household bills). We also have to move in the beginning of the year. We all need Jake.

Jake had 2 TPLO surgeries on his hind legs when we was just 2, and has been battling severe arthritis. In July he was diagnosed with cancer. He had a very large mass removed and is now having chemo treatments. We have gotten him 4 treatments but we can’t afford the last 2 and the X-rays and ultrasound. He is being treated at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in NJ.

Jake is just the sweetest boy ever. Whenever we come home he barks and cries and his whole butt wiggles with his tail. Jake always knows when we need him he will sit and give you his paw. He has been with me every day since I have become disabled, he has gotten me through a very difficult time in my life.
