Jake is in a critical stage of ehrlichia and needs your immediate help.

Jake is only about six months old and is currently fighting for his life. He has ehrlichia, a disease we have treated before, but he has progressed to a critical stage where he now needs an immediate blood transfusion to survive. Without it, he does not have a chance. He deserves the chance for a long life and you can directly help with that by donating.

We are moving forward with his care at Tampa Bay Veterinary Services because there is no other option, but the cost of this lifesaving transfusion is $5,000, and we do not have the funds. We are asking, truly pleading, for our community to step in for Jake.

Every single dollar matters, even a couple dollars, helps us get closer to giving him the chance he deserves. We never want a situation like this to take away from the other animals we are trying to save, but right now Jake needs everything we have, and we cannot do it without you.

He is just a baby. He deserves a long, healthy, beautiful life. He deserves the chance to grow up, to play, to be safe, to be loved.
