Janis is a 1.5 year old Mix-Breed in Mesa, AZ, who needs $6,800 for Amputation.

Janis is a 1.5 year old pit malanois mix that came into my life when she was just a few weeks old. The breeders were not taking proper care of the pups and I rescued her from abuse. She is very loved by her 6 human kiddos ages 1-16 and her 2 moms and she is a prized pet that not only protects our family but our small farm as well. She has 2 doggie sisters that are very confused and concerned too.

This morning I woke up to blood everywhere and found Janis in a pool under our kitchen table she suffered a major laceration and we rushed her to Lovett animal hospital where we learned she shattered her pelvis and needs her leg amputated in order to live a normal-ish life she’s not even 2 and has so much love and life left she managed to get back home from where she was hit over 100yards away.

Janis is spunky and energetic and loves playing with her kids. She has two sisters that are her best friends and partners in crime. She’s always the first to greet you at the door and she’s full of kisses and wiggles.

This is a very large sum of money that we were not prepared to have to spend in. Our family is going to suffer throughout the year because of it if we could have any help at all, that would be greatly appreciated as we do not want to choose money over life.
