Jasper is a 9-year-old Domestic Short Hair Cat in Asheville, NC, who needs $2,000 for Dental Extraction and Anesthesia.

Jasper and his brother (littermate) were rescued as their feral mother had a littler under an acquaintance's outbuilding in Georgia. A month ago, we moved back to NC after living in Florida for 7 years. Other than his teeth he is healthy and happy.

He is the sweetest baby ever and loves to cuddle and love on everyone. He never seems to be grumpy. He loves everyone and everyone loves him as soon as they meet him.

He was born with cerebellar hypoplasia so he is a little stiff and wobbly but he doesn't let that stop him from doing all of the things he loves. He is an ESA for me and whenever I am feeling overwhelmed or anxious and having a hard time, he seems to know right away and always comes to love me and get some petting of his own.

Although he received regular preventative care in Florida, the vet there never mentioned a problem with his teeth. However, when we had him seen by Dr. Bradley Caissie at Banfield, we were informed he has dental issues causing him pain and difficulty eating and will need two or three teeth removed. I hate to think that until we can afford it he is in discomfort daily; it breaks my heart.

I'm temporarily unemployed and finding new employment is proving more difficult than anticipated. The vet said the bill could end up being between $2,000-$4,000 but the urgent treatment will probably be about $2,0000. Jasper & I would greatly appreciate any help.
