Will You Help Jasper Get Dental Surgery & Neutered?

Jasper was on the euthanasia list and taken out for his last day by a kind volunteer. When she posted a video about it, Reunion Rescue saw it and couldn’t get him out of their head. His video struck the caretakers at Reunion Rescue profoundly because of how quiet and gentle he was as he was being bathed his last day before being euthanized. They decided to take a leap of faith and pulled him. They were surprised when three people offered to foster him on SF Nextdoor.

He was noted to have a UTI at the boarding facility while awaiting transport and the foster family immediately contacted the rescue about his dental situation. He had multiple loose teeth, infected and bleeding gums and was experiencing great pain. However, he is a trouper and the gentlest, sweetest soul despite the suffering from neglect. He has since had his dental surgery. His foster family saw him through major surgery and now recovery.

Reunion Rescue is a 501(c)3 non profit founded in San Francisco, 1999. No one takes a salary and in fact, the director spends her social security check each month to care for the animals here in the refuge.
