Jax is a 6 yr old mastiff. He has always been one of the smartest dogs. He learned very quickly. I have had Jax since he was a puppy of 8 wks old. We purchased him to bring up the spirits of my older boxer after he lost his best friend. Chubbs was very depressed and Jax brought him back to life. He has been a bright light in our lives.

Jax lives with 2 cats and 3 other dogs. He is the alpha dog and loves to play with his brothers and sister. His way of getting my attention is to come in and sit directly in front of me and stare into my eyes. He then gives me a paw to tell me he loves me. He is quite the big baby! He gets excited when we have visitors.

Jax is a special dog. Very loving yet protective. He is always excited to see me when I get home from work. He is very good at home with his brothers and sister and the 2 cats. He has been by far one of the best and smartest dogs. I hate the thought of him not being able to continue to have a long and happy life.

Jax decided to swallow a sock. It has caused a blockage that needs to be removed and more than likely will involve surgery. I have had some financial struggles lately that have made it near impossible for me to afford taking him to the vet or hospital to get the issue fixed. I will be taking him to Metro as he is in dire need.

I had a sudden major expense involving my furnace being fixed. I am a single mom trying to my best to care for my household on 1 income. I do not wish to lose my beloved Jax. He has so much more life to give.
