About this campaign
Jax came to us because his owner, a family member passed away and he needed us as much as we needed him.
The previous owner was my aunt and after her untimely passing had left Jax in a depressed state waiting for her to come home and not knowing that she wouldn’t be back; however, after becoming a permanent fixture in our home he is more alive again and his puppyish bark just adds joy to us all
I am a disabled veteran suffering with PTSD and he couldn’t have come into our lives at a better time.
Jax is a well mannered English Bulldog with an exceptional demeanor.
He is well trained and extremely obedient; however, when Jax came to us he was suffering from a nasal disorder and requires a specific operation to relieve him of his suffering.
It pains us to see him suffer.
Jax loves to go for walks, chase tennis balls and wrestling around with us after meals; however when he does he starts wheezing and have difficulty breathing so the play time has to be kept to a minimum. We would love for Jax to have the much needed operation. Two years of suffering has to be difficult for him and takes away from his quality of life dramatically.
The previous owner of Jax maintained his medical health and welfare extremely well. All of his shots are nearly up to date with only a few shots left that required 2 series of the inoculations.
After doing research and finding a Veterinary Clinic in our area that could perform the operation that Jax so desperately needs. We learned that the cost was so far out of our budget and ability to pay. I’m a disabled veteran with most of my earnings going out to live.
