Me and my best man Jax have been together since he was the smallest boy, about 3-4 weeks. Some argue that may be soon, but we clicked instantly and have never looked back. I got really lucky with Jax and he is pretty much nice to anyone he comes across! He's had some bad run ins with other dogs at dog parks so he needs a warm up period for some pets but all he needs is 24 hours and he'll the coolest kid on the block!

I don't think I've ever met a dog as curious as him. His knack for finding out things in an instant and getting bored because he already solved it is so funny to me, but also very impressive. It's hard to buy toys for him because once he figures it out, it's almost like it doesn't exist haha! But that's what I love about him ❤️

After all the life he has lived, unfortunately he was diagnosed with lymphoma last week, and will need to start chemo as soon as possible to give him a chance. It's hit him pretty hard. He's lost 10 lbs. We are taking him to Pet Cancer Group every week for two months for chemo starting this Friday.

I am in between jobs right now which was also the cause of me losing my pet insurance so it's the only reason I reached out. I know he still wants to keep going and I will do my best to make that a reality going through every possible resource I can.
