Jax is a 9-year-old Chihuahua in Philadelphia, PA, who needs $385 for Teeth Extraction.

I adopted Jax 5 years ago from a shelter, they had no information on him besides he came from West Virginia. He was so happy to come home with us he jumped all over the car on the way home. He lives with my mom, my niece and I and our cat Bam Bam. They all get along so well and we play together everyday.

Jax wakes up early every morning and loves going for his walks and playing with his toys. If he's not playing or eating you can find him sitting on someone's lap or cuddled under his blanket. He's such a friendly and happy dog with everyone he meets. My niece even plays airplane with him all the time and he loves it

This past year has been rough for me, I had two car accidents in 4 months and had some cut hours at work as a result from covid, which I haven't recovered from financially yet. I worry about Jax every day and I just want him better.

Unfortunately Jax won't be able to enjoy his peanut butter treats much longer, he has a few bad teeth, bad enough to need surgery, he has lost 3 already and need 3 more out, this time they are bad enough they could affect his sinuses without removal, the vet says we have time but not to wait too long to do it.

Jax loves eating his peanut butter treats, taking pictures and for some reason flipping his bed upside down to hide under that makes me laugh every time he does it. If Jax is around ve prepared to laugh or hug but by 9:00 he's ready to be tucked in for bed and up early the next day, tapping me for his walk.
