Hey and Hello!
I'm Chase, Jaxons Dad. I got a call from a friend 10 years ago, telling me she knew of a puppy that desperately needed a home that day, or he was going to be euthanized. He was about 4-5 months old and had been very abused and neglected. I only agreed to foster. Then we fell in love. I gave him a new positive name, neuter, very first bath, toys, attention and love.....

Jaxon loves his Kitties and fur siblings. He shares toys like a champ and always encourages anyone to play. He's even Buds with my pet Rat. Jax and my daughter are so sweet together. He has his own bed (donated crib mattress was amazing!) and pillows. He has his own pool in the summer. He has such a gentle and peaceful energy. He's the perfect family member. He's an "old man", but my baby!

Jax makes all kinds of friends everywhere we go. But we're assuming, because of his beginning and the abuse before me, it takes him much longer to warm up to new men. Besides being very skiddish and sensitive at first, he's just a softy. He has one funny habit; we call him the "tree trimmer". He jumps up and pulled branches down. It's entertaining for all! And he NEVER gets tired of swimming!

Jax has a terrible skin mass/tumor hanging from his belly/ribcage area. Tumor has dropped so much recently, its seriously hindering his health and the quality of the time we still have. He also needs a dental/tooth extraction! He's always been a chewer. Nylabones are his favorite. Makes him happy! The Vet quoted me for both cases being done at the same time, so Jax doesnt have to be under twice.

To sum it up, sadly I went through a divorce and had to relocate. I had to change jobs and it's close to impossible to keep up with the means starting over on my own. It was hard enough finding a place that was OK with the breed. So I'm here now, for my Boy. Thank you!
