About this campaign

Jaxson came into my life 6.5 years ago. Prior to living with me he had been with two other families. He had not been well taken care of in the second home and was leashes outside in all weather. He was skittish and easily frightened. He has come a long way though our boy is still afraid of water and runs from bath time!

Jaxson is known as the family goober. He’s funny and playful and can be quite the comedian. He loves to snuggle, belly rubs, and CAR RIDES! He can make anything into a toy, and happens to be particularly fond of water bottles. He will wait patiently at your feet for your empty water bottle once you’re done with it.

I am disabled and do not have much money coming in. The money I have keeps a roof over our head, bills paid and bellies fed. I am not able to currently hold a job due to my physical disability and limitations.

Jaxson has a bilateral cranial ligament ruptured to both of his back legs. He tore one knee from playing but the other was from a fall due to getting frightened from fireworks. Jaxson’s surgery will actually cost 5K on the low end but anything helps and I am truly appreciative. Jaxson is being treated by Pieper Memorial Veterinary Hospital by Dr. Whitney Phipps.

Don’t leave your car door open around Jaxson! He’ll take it as an invitation to go for a ride and will jump right in. Once he’s in there is no getting him out! A car ride must be had and it better be a long one! He will refuse to get out of the car if he feels the ride was not long enough. It’s Jaxson’s world, we just love in it!
