Jay is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Houston , TX, who needs $1,800 for Mass Removal-Mastectomy (Level 1).

Jay is a very sweet little smart girl dog. I took her from a couple who got her from another owner who couldn’t keep her. She has been with me since January of 2022. In June of 2022 I lost my apartment due to being disabled and living on a fixed income. We have not been able to get into stable housing and have stayed in the car and motels when ever I could afford it. I plan to keep her forever.

A couple of weeks ago I took Jay in to the Thrive Pet care on Fountain View ave in Houston Texas for her check up and shots and was advised by the veterinary doctor that she has two marble size tumors on two of her nipples. I have the quote for almost $1,600.00 and probably more depending on the surgery for her and I don’t know what to do. I don’t have any money for her surgery which is sad

Jay is such a sweet personality she is friendly and loves everyone and other dogs . In stores everyone loves her. She is well behaved and listens to commands she even cleans her self by scooting her butt after the bathroom. She doesn’t have worms. She can jump very high is a lovable nice girl she loves children and she is very tranquil. She has been such comfort to me during this homeless time.

I am a widow and I lost my husband to cancer in 2014. I have always taken care of animals all my life. But now that I have a disability and I am retired I live on social security disability which is a fixed income. I don’t have the money to help my dog , she deserves help.
