About this campaign

We adopted Jazzy when she was 8 weeks old. At that time we were living in an apartment. She learned very quickly how to use the pee pads. After being in an apartment for a few years, we wanted Jazzy to have a backyard to play in. So now myself and my two children rent a house with a backyard for Jazzy to play in. Jazzy loves her daily walks around the neighborhood and loves playing soccer.

On January 1, 2025, I rushed Jazzy to Washington Boulevard Animal Hospital because she was pooping blood and throwing up. They ran a battery of tests. The urinalysis was good, she didn't have pancreatitis. Only her red blood cell count was high. They recommended she stay at the Hospital for 2-3 days, but I only could afford one night. It's been 26 days and the same symptoms are back.

Jazzy loves to go outside and play soccer or take a walk. She also loves to cuddle up to me or my children. She loves kisses and when family comes over to visit.

I've been on worker's comp since September 2024 after being assaulted on the Job as a 5th-grade teacher. Every day, we walk together as part of my rehabilitation. She's been there for me, loving me and reminding me that I must get up. She cuddles with me every night.
