Jeff is a 2-year-old Tabby in Saint Paul, MN, who needs $1,500 for Emergency Surgery for Kidney/Bladder Crystal Removal.

Jeff came into our lives as a kitten. We saw a posting online about him and his siblings living outside and needing homes. As soon as we saw him we fell in love and ended up taking Jeff and his brother Lex with us. We were still grieving the death of our cat Isaac who we had for years and who I love like a son and my kids love like a brother. Jeff & Lex brought much needed joy back into our lives.

Jeff immediately found his place in our family. He’s smart and curious and LOVES to explore! He enjoys digging in anything new we bring into the house and LOVES belly rubs! Jeff is so kind to his brother and always let’s lex do things first while Jeff waits patiently for his turn. And he is always there for me and the kids when we are sad. He is so loving and he knows when we need a little extra.

Jeff and I have bonded during his “belly rub time”. He usually jumps on the bed and gives me “the meow” and lays down right next to me on his back so I can rub his belly while I watch my shows on tv and (because I’m a single mom of 3 teens/pre-teens) I will tell Jeff what’s going on in the show and what I think about it. All while he looks right at me , like he actually cares what I’m saying .

Jeff had to be taken to the ComoPark animal clinic ER 1 time before because he was urinating blood, frequently urinating, having multiple accidents and was crying out in pain. We found out that he had crystals develop in his bladder/kidneys and he had to have emergency surgery. Jeff is experiencing these same symptoms again and is not eating or drinking. He doesn’t want belly rubs or to explore.

I am a single mom of 3. I used up my only savings on Jeff’s previous surgery and don’t have any money to cover another. I just returned to work after being out over 3wks due to Covid so I’m behind on bills too. Jeff means so much to us and we can’t imagine life without him.
