Jello is a 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in South San Francisco , CA, who needs $1,281 for Ciliary Body Ablation.

Jello has been my baby since she was 3 months old. She will be 14 on September 17th. Rooty as I call her is totally blind and still such a logo getter. Nothing stops her sunshine. She has 2 “siblings”, she and her 14 year old “sister”, don’t know a world without each other. They are inseparable and their little “brother “ is a mischief maker.

Jello is my daughter’s sister and my baby girl. Jello and Muffin sleep with me always have, we are always together. Now that Jello is blind in both eyes, I am in awe of her, she navigates the house and the world fearlessly,, she always knows where she’s going. Her siblings are always near in case she needs them. Snacky time is her favorite.

Like so many Covid came along and we were all out of work. I am now the only one working with reduced hours and my husband is currently on Disability. We have barely enough to stay afloat. Jello is healthy otherwise and doesn’t deserve to be put to sleep it’s killing me

Jello is currently a patient at Veterinary Vision. She is totally blind, she had glaucoma in her left eye that was treated successfully a few years ago and now it has affected her right eye. We are currently using eye drop treatments to reduce the pressure and pain but they are a short term fix. Eventually, the pressure will rise again and she will need a special procedure

Jello is sassy and independent. She may not see but she is always seen. When she walks she tiptoes and tap dances, I love just watching her walk. Snacky time is her favorite, if you say the word she comes running. Her superpower is her ability to know whenever I’m sad, she’s by side kissing me to make me feel better.
