About this campaign
Jenny came into my life when I most needed something to deal with severe depression due to medical malpractice that forced me to stop working. As a single mom, I was devastated knowing my source of income changed drastically and I was no longer the person I used to be. Until this day I consider Jenny who help me the most with my symptoms and medical issues.
Jenny is not seen as a dog in our family. She is our spoiled big baby. She loves my 3 daughters but loves me the most. we have a bond that is incredible. I know the difference when she barks and perfectly knows when she wants to eat, drink water, go out to take care of her business, or just play with her toys, She loves the water and at times she even jumps in the shower with me.
she helped me recover from mental and physical health. I love her and this is why; On 2015 sadly I had a spinal fusion surgery that resulted in malpractice. In 2017 again, I had to go under surgery to repair damage caused by the first surgery. Currently, I have 5 screws, 2 Pedicles, and a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted on my Spine. Jenny takes care of me when I'm in unbearable pain.
Jenny has been a healthy pet This is the first time something like this happened. She started with redness in the belly area and I brought her to an emergency veterinary clinic, they told me it was an allergic reaction and gave me meds for a week but when her own vet saw her sadly gave me a prognosis that later on was confirmed positive for lymphatic cancer.
as mentioned before I became disabled around 2017 and my only income is Social security disability. Almost all my check goes towards the mortgage and I can't pay for cancer treatment for jenny on my own. wouldnt forgive me if I can't help her now that she needs me.
