Jerry is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Austin, TX, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Jerry, my ESA, has been with me since she was 8 months old when I adopted her from a shelter here in Austin. I’m a teacher and when my school was still a dog friendly campus she used to come with me every day for 3 years. Jerry is also affectionately known as Jeraldine, Jeraldine the Garbage Queen, Wigs, mama, and Lil Fat Fat.

Jerry tore her second TPLO and now needs surgery to repair it. We have pet insurance that we just switched providers with in June but they have a special 6month waiting period for ligament injuries and have denied coverage. We’re working with Brodie Animal Hospital again.

She loves car rides, fetching frisbees, belly rubs, and is the sweetest snuggle bug. Her howl needs work although she tries her best. She loves sun bathing in the grass and trying to catch the bubbles in the pool. She loves going to daycare and terribly misses it now that she’s out on injury. She’s so smart and knows so many tricks.

Jerry and I just put all we have into our first apartment and this surgery came as a sudden and unexpected expense. Because insurance won’t cover it and as a teacher with no emergency surgery funds, any donations would mean the world to us. Thank you 💖
