Jersey is a 9-year-old Chihuahua in Rockmart, GA, who needs $500 for Spay and Wellness Visit.

My mom ran across 3 puppies that someone was selling and they wanted to get rid of these last 3 sisters badly so they took $50 for all. They were in rough condition covered in fleas. I got the runt. I have very limited income I really couldn't afford her but I fell in love the instant I met her and had to keep her.

I play around and say that Jersey is a little bit crazy when I tell people about her. She absolutely believes she is human. She will sit up on her back legs a majority of the time. She's wild. She's my blessing. She brightens up my day no matter how I'm feeling. My family and I cannot imagine life without her.

From day 1 Jersey has had to sleep on me.. If she is not wrapped around my neck she's laying on my shoulder and if she's warmer that night she will lay beside me but has to be touching me. If I scoot she scoots . If I go outside for any reason she's barking at the door. When I go to the restroom she's coming with me.. she's my shadow.

Like I said I didn't have the money to take Jersey to the vet she still needs her shots but my biggest concern right now is getting her spayed and getting her breast checked out. It's been about 2 months since her first heat cycle and she has swollen breast around the last 4 breast. I'm very concerned She doesn't need to have another cycle from what I have read

I live with my fiancee and his 21 yr old son who has down syndrome. My fiancee is the only one bringing in any income I stay home with my stepson. I just need some help I would not ask this normally she is just so important to our family
