About this campaign
My husband and I lost our baby boy back in 2018 with cancer. One February day we went to the dog shelter and that's where we found Jessie. With our hearts still mourning for our baby boy, she looked almost identical to our baby boy. We had to get her. Once we got approved from our land lord, we could take her home. We were so happy! Her original name was Jessie and it fit perfectly for her.
Jessie had urinary problems in August of 2024. Turns out it was a UTI. We were broken but with the veterinarians antibiotics it didn't show back up until in December of 2024. This was a stone in her urthera. With surgery, she was back to her self. On January 14 we got devastating news. This time, it could be a tumor or her nervous system. We will have to go to a specialist vet or euthanize her.
Our baby girl is our family. She has so much life she has to spend more time with her family. She has this toy which she loves dearly. I cuddle with it and her to ease my mind a little. When you say 'speak' and mimic her bark, she will vocalize at last 4 barks at one time. She is afraid of fireworks and sometimes the thunder but with my husband and myself by her side, she will be safe.
When we learned about how much it was going to cost, it broke us. We are half way to afford her treatment. We need that other half to get her healthy again and spend the rest of her days by her family.
