Jessie is a 12-year-old Coonhound in Kings, IL, who needs $450 for Ultrasound.

Jessie was a foster fail many years ago. She was returned after being adopted out and I was going through a rough patch...she comforted me during that time and I just could not let her go. She is the alpha of my pack for sure and does not let any of the other dogs get away with anything! What Jessie wants Jessie usually gets.

My house is pretty calm being full of seniors but Jessie even though she is 12 is still the boss! She moves others out the bed she wants and referees the other dogs when there is an issue. She is my girl but still plays the game of try and catch me to get what I am chewing on or to try and trim her nails!

If another of the dogs has a treat or a toy or is in the bed she wants she will just stan in front of them and bark until she gets what she wants. She doesn't play all that much but will put her paw up on my arm or stretch out next to me at night just to remind me she is there. Not all that cuddly but I get a hug when I come home from work everyday!

Jessie has not been doing well for a few months now. She has had bloodwork done and a urinalysis as well that found nothing remarkable. She has been battling diarrhea and weight loss so the next step needed for her is an ultrasound of her abdomen to see if we can get any clues as to what they saw on the xrays.

With a house full of senior dogs the emergency vet fund gets depleted quickly. Having 4 dogs at the moment with complex medical issues puts a strain on funds for sure.
