Jester is a 6 year old lab/pitbull mix. Jester has had quite the life journey in his six years. Jester lives with his sister Baely and his two kitty brothers from another mother; Hekyll and Jekyll.
Years ago, a family member posted pictures of Jester on FB. They were looking for responsible people to adopt Jester and his siblings. From the moment we saw Jester, we knew we had to have him.

Jester fit right into our already active household. From the moment he waddled through the door, he bonded immediately with his big sister Baely and even his kitty brothers. He grew to be an extremely agile and athletic dog. He has a very sweet disposition. Random people compliment him all the time.

We call Jester Mclickerton. It seems like he licks everyone, including himself. He loves to lick people’s face. Jester can also be a very stubborn dog. If he doesn’t want to do something, he just doesn’t do it! No amount of coaxing or bribing is going to get him to do it until he is ready.

Suddenly and inexplicably, Jester became paralyzed. He has no use of his hind legs. He also has no control of his bladder or bowel movements. He cannot do anything at all on his own. He cannot walk or run, or even eat standing up.
Jester will receive physical therapy from Care Pet Therapy Medical Center in East Syracuse NY

Our pressing financial need is that the cost of caring for Jester is overwhelming at best. We believe the physical therapy will help to improve Jester’s quality of life. That’s all we want. We just want to improve his quality of life.
