Jester, our sweet 3-year-old boy Maine Coon, has a severe megacolon that requires surgery to remove his colon. His small intestine will act as a supplemental colon—a complex, life-saving procedure. We discovered this after our breeder contract expired and have been battling this condition ever since.

Christmas week confirmed what we feared: surgery is the only option. He was at the vet every day except Christmas Day and is back again today. We’ve explored every avenue—Texas A&M, Gulf Coast specialists, alternative treatments—but this surgery is very expensive, and we’ve depleted our savings.
