Jet is a 13-year-old Toy Poodle in Mesa, AZ, who needs $1,900 for an amputation.

Jet was originally my grandmother's dog. After she passed away, my grandfather could not take care of him on his own. I took him in and immediately fell in love. Jet was originally thought to be a few years old, since my grandfather had dementia, but I recently discovered he is closer to 13 years old.

Jet is obsessed with me and glued to my hip. He doesn't play other than smacking you in the face when he is way too excited. He puts up with my child giving him hugs or carrying him around like a baby. He may be only 4 pounds but thinks he is a great Dane when it comes to other dogs! He has had a retained/not dropped testicle which I had removed. And multiple dental issues due to improper diet.

In 2018 I was divorced. In 2019 I had to file bankruptcy due to the divorce. Now with the pandemic I have been without stable income for over a year. I have quite a bit of extensive knowledge on how to maintain his leg but it is out of my control

Jet decided to jump out of a jeep (that was parked) and dislocated his joint in his leg. Due to panic and overall concern for him, I took him to an emergency vet. They implanted a stabilizing bar to secure the joint. In my opinion, Jet is too small for the bar to be fully effective. He is overly concerned about cleaning his feet/leg

Jet will bark at everything. He curls on on your lap and just wants to be touching someone. He listens very well except when it comes to not barking excessively. He loves his chew sticks but will only eat them on your lap. And he wants so desperately to be best friends with my cat however my cat couldn't care
