About this campaign

*Determined to Rise Animal Foundation*

Little Jeter was all alone, wandering the streets when he was tragically struck by a car. He sustained a horrible fracture to his back leg. He was taken to the local shelter, but nobody ever came looking for him. The shelter reached out to Determined to Rise Animal Foundation because they knew he needed medical intervention as soon as possible.

Determined to Rise quickly got Jeter to their vet, Midwest Animal Hospital in Illinois. They assessed his fracture in his back leg and determined it warranted amputation since it was beyond repair. They amputated quickly and he is now in recovery with a heavy dose of antibiotics.

Jeter is a super sweet pup who wants all the love. He was in a lot of pain when the rescue took him in, but he was still so timid and kind. He is doing better each and every day but still needs support in his healing journey.

Like a lot of non-profit rescues, Determined to Rise is inundated with medical bills as the number of stray animals continues to rise. Jeter, like all dogs, deserves a fighting chance. Please donate to Jeter's campaign to help DTR support him in his journey back to health.
