Jiggy is a 10 year old Boston Terrier. He has been my best friend since he was 8 weeks old. He is lively and full of energy! We live next to a farm where he loves to visit his horse friends.

Jiggy had to have his right eye removed in March 2025. His recovery went smoothly and he did well adjusting. This past week his left eye became cloudy and an ulcer appeared. On August 5th he had emergency surgery to remove his left eye. When we came home that night his eye swelled significantly. I applied ice as directed. This morning his site opened up and started bleeding. He had surgery again.

Jiggy is healthy, happy, and full of energy. He loves his toys and playing fetch. He has been the most loyal and loving best friend. We lost his pug sister almost 2 years ago which was hard for him. Jiggy loves to run around and play with my daughter’s dog in our fenced yard. He also loves the occasional burger as a treat.

I am a palliative care patient and am on a fixed income which makes big emergencies really hard. I love Jiggy with everything I am and rely on him to get me through the tough days. It would truly mean the world to me to be able to have him get back to his happy, healthy self
