Jilly came to us when she was just 3 years old and she made it apparent that she did not want to leave the sanctuary. She's a bit different that most greyhounds, but she's been thriving here for the last 10 years and we've learned how to attend to her needs.

Jilly was startled from her sleep when a very loud truck accidentally dropped it's load near the sanctuary and she tried to run from her bed. Her old legs didn't work well and Jilly fell. The laceration in her thin, greyhound skin needed to be repaired and Jilly needed antibiotics and pain medications to help her heal. Madison Vet Hospital has provided her care for years.

Jilly is extremely shy and nervous, known as a true spook in the greyhound world. While she's comfortable with her caretaker, she will not approach strangers and gets very upset with loud noises, thunder and a change in her routine. As she ages, her cognitive abilities have declined and she gets confused easily.

We are a registered, nonprofit animal rescue that specializes in providing lifetime care to senior and special needs animals. We rely on donations to pay for medical bills and need to raise funds to help with Jilly's medical needs. Can you help Jilly?
