Jim is a 8 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Scott AFB, IL, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA).

We already had one blue heeler and decided she could use a friend. After some searching around we found Jim. He was born in Texas and is now 8 years old and still going strong. He’s been an apartment dog most of his life but for a good 3 years we lived in Arkansas, loving every moment of it. Then we welcomed a new human addition to our family. They’ve been buddies from day one.

Jim (Jimbo) has always been a high energy active dog! He’s the comedic life of the party and recently during one of our bouts of fetch out in the yard he had torn his ACL in his left back leg. I didn’t realize it until after I took him in to the vet to get X-rays. Even while having a hard time walking he still has the best attitude and is still a comedian.

Jim had an online presence on Instagram for a while there before we had a baby. He’d had a few followers but nothing more than a few dozen. Still he’s special to me because he is such a fun guy. He’s brave and quirky and will not hesitate to be the best warning couch potato with you on any given day.

My husband is a member of the military, I have only recently returned to the workforce after a one year unemployment as a stay-at-home-mom for our son. I’m only working part time at the moment and money is still tight, especially with me trying to pay off student loans.
