About this campaign
I recently lost my 6 year Mastiff / Great Dane mix to osteosarcoma and after her loss I felt the need for a new love in my life. I found a person who had an unexpected litter of a Bullmastiff / Great Dane mix and felt it was too good to be true and got one of the males and adopted him. I named him Jimbo after my recently passed grandfather.
Jimbo is a defina-se goof ball who just has to love on you. He constantly needs to be with you and be touching you. He loves his toys especially his stuffed animals. He doesn't chew them he just likes to lay with them . They must act as his security blankets. He loves the neighborhood kids as much as they love him. He also loves to play with other dogs and visit the local dog park.
Just graduated from college with 28K in student loans. I'm looking for 1st job as a registered nurse, it's difficult starting as hospitals prefer experienced nurses vice newly graduated nurse. I am confident I will find one and I will do everything I can to get him healthy.
Over the past few weeks his left leg started to bow outwards. This was very mild at first but quickly exacerbated. My vet recommended an Orthopedic Specialist. The Capital Veterinary Services Orthopedic Specialist diagnosed him with retained cartilaginous core in his left distal ulna with 25-30 degrees carpal valgus. The surgical procedure Jimbo requires is a Left Ulna Ostectomy.
Jimbo is like just like a baby. He needs to sleep with you and cuddle. He biggest thing is that he thinks he is slowly sneaking up to you while you are sitting on the couch and then decides he is going to sit on your lap, this was cute at 10, 20, 30 lbs, but now at over 100 lbs its still cute but no so comfortable, lol.
