About this campaign
I was gifted my little bundle of joy almost 6 years ago as a Christmas gift. I begged and cried for a rabbit for as long as i could remember and i was finally given one by my aunt and uncle in 2020. He’s the best thing that’s happened to me and I'm forever grateful for him.
During our recent move to a new home, he jumped out of my arms onto the street. We took him to Oradell Animal Hospital and found out he fractured his femur bone badly to the point where our only option is to amputate his leg which will cost $2k-$5k or euthanize him.
Jimmy John loved being cuddled up with my stuffed sloth, it’s the cutest thing. He would even groom it. He loves interacting with toddlers, which took me by surprise at first since he’s somewhat shy. Yet just like any other pet, with some treats to bribe him he’d be friendly with anyone!
I am a 17 year old who's currently applying to colleges and i definitely do not have the kind of money to afford a $2,000 vet bill.My parents recently had a baby on top of the fact we just moved into a more expensive home.So the burden of this surgery bill falls to me alone.
