Jinx is a 4-year-old American Shorthair Cat in Minneapolis, MN, who needs $1,110 for Cystotomy.

Jinx Binx came into our life when I first moved across the country by myself 3 years ago. I didn’t know anyone other than my boyfriend and he worked a lot so I was home alone all the time. Being alone all the time made my anxiety so much worse so we went to the shelter and found Jinx Binx in a cage all by himself. I felt like we were connected the moment we met so we brought him home.

Jinx has been my best friend since I got him. We spend all day together. He’s helped my anxiety in every single way and wherever I go, he goes.

When I got him, I couldn’t afford treatment for my severe mental health issues or disabilities and for a long time all I had was Jinx. He always knows when I’m sad or crying and will come over and sit in my lap or lay next to me until I feel better.

I wake up with extreme anxiety every morning & have nightmares all night, & every single night he lays with me while I sleep & stays until I get out of bed. If I’m gone all day, he can hear me coming to the door & waits in the hallway and then talks to me when I come inside & won’t leave my side for hours.

He’s truly my best friend and I really don’t know what I’d do without him.

Recently we noticed blood in his urine, so we rushed him to urgent care & after spending all day there, we were told he had several stones in his bladder, which was causing him a lot of pain. And the only way to guarantee that he be okay is to have a surgery that removes all of the stones. If he doesn’t have it soon then they then they could get stuck in his urinary tract, which could kill him.

My boyfriend is the only one that works in our house because I’m a full time student, and cannot work until I receive further treatment.

Jinx is our whole world, so we’re hoping people can help us in any way they can to help Jinx Binx .
