Jinx is a 2-year-old Black Cat in Oak Lawn, IL, who needs $750 for Emergency.

We rescued Jinx a stray when he was only a month old, we found him in an alley and he followed us two city blocks home on his own volition and has never left since.

Jinx loves to cuddle and enjoys the company of his friend Peku, another recent rescue. He is very vocal and enjoys the company of anyone in our apartment, even friends he hasn't met before.

Jinx has always been loveable, probably the most loveable and faithful pet that I've ever owned. He has been the best company I've ever had through my darker times.

Jinx out of the blue is experiencing labored breathing and lethargy. He is still responsive however it is very concerning as funds are limited to me right now and I'm afraid of losing my best friend.

I can't even afford an emergency vet visit right now struggling to find work after being wrongfully terminated from a job I have worked at for over nine years. It would mean the world to me if I could have any sort of assistance. This cat has been my lifeline.
