Jodee has been with me a little over 9 years now. I found her wandering around my parents house one day and she seemed like such a cool, chill dog that I said “If this dog is still hanging around when I go home, I’m taking it with me” By the end of the night I had forgotten all about it. I went to my car and there she was..sitting right beside the tire as if to say, you have to keep your promise!

Jodee has always been the sweetest puppers in all the land. She’s never barked at anyone or anything. The grandkids dress her up and try to ride her around and she absolutely lights up when she sees them.

She’s incredibly smart and loves to be dressed up and watch tv. If I’m ever sad, she knows and will come lay down beside me. The way she loves children and interacts with them makes her even more special.

Jodee has always been my hiking, riding around, and fishing parter. She loves the water and and literally anyone she meets. I recently took her to the vet to get her shots and she tested positive for heart worms. I was completely surprised and devastated. I didn’t know much about it really. I’ve spent the last week tirelessly learning about it.

For the last almost 10 years it’s just been me and Jodee. My children are grown and I’ve been single. She is my best friend. I don’t know what I would do without her. She’s so amazing and I want to give her every chance I can to be healthy again.
