Jody is a 2-year-old Chioxy in Humble, TX, who needs $2,000 for Possible Amputation and Antibiotic Treatment.

A family member recently passed away and when they were found, Jody was found in horrible shape. My relative lived alone and was ill but didn't let family know how bad his situation had become.

I have had Jody for 2 days now and even though he is suffering, he still has so much affection and curiosity. He has a will to fight. He sleeps in his own bed, isolated from my other dog , in order to keep his area as sanitary as possible
He gets up for breakfast and rr break , I have to carry him each time rr break
I treat his sores 3 times a day with cleansing and antibiotic ointment.

Even though Jody is suffering he still tries to jump up and down using his front legs when you greet him

Jody is crippled in one leg
Bec he's not able to stand, he had been urinating and defecating on himself and has open sores on his inner thighs and scrotum. Both of his feet have very deep open sores, from having to drag his legs. We believe when our relative fell gravely I'll, he couldn't walk himself and couldn't care for Jody. We have no idea how Jody became crippled
