Joey September first and he was one of two dogs that I got as a rescue both had injuries Joey had come with a broken leg which I was told was taking care of and had surgery done and that's what the pledge money was used for and come to find out he hadn't had surgery done and he had a major infection in his paw when I got him to the point where it was gangrene and he's required weekly dressing changes and scrubbing to his foot witch he's had to be sedated for they can't put the pins in his eye until his foot and the infection it healed so he is having in a cast for six months now he had a surgery done on November 9 and he still in a cast to this day because of the bone not healing as quick as it should've had to get a bone marrow transplant from his shoulder for his leg to promote bone growth
