About this campaign
Gracie's Project
Gracie's Project received a tip that there was a litter of puppies that had been abandoned on the side of the road in Amarillo, Texas. They were emaciated, covered in fleas and ticks, and were hunkered down in a thin grass patch on the side of a busy road. It was blistering hot. There were four in total that were still alive, and sadly, two had passed.
They were quickly taken to Cadillac Vet, where they began evaluating their health. Sadly, the four surviving puppies all tested positive for parvo, a highly contagious virus that attacks a dog's white blood cells and can be fatal.
Esther, Sarah, Elizabeth, and John, are all being closely monitored and treated. The virus was caught with barely enough time to spare, but all four puppies have hopeful prognoses. They all just want to be loved and readily accept any and all attention.
Gracie's Project is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to help the animals they bring in. Please help in them with supporting John, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Esther. They deserve to have their faith in humans restored and live a long happy life, like all dogs.
Update 8/17
All four puppies are doing wonderfully. They are stable enough to go to a foster and finish their recovery in a loving home. They are putting on weight and spend their days napping hard and playing harder!
