Johnny is a 1-year-old Great Dane in Murfreesboro, TN, who needs $150 for heart worm and flea treatment, dental cleaning, vaccines and examination.

My husband brought Johnny home on Christmas Eve last year. At first I thought he was a jacket being carried in. I was apprehensive when my husband said Johnny was a Great Dane. But suddenly I fell total in love with Johnny. To me he is my child in a lot ways. I was saddened to read more about his breed type as their lifespan is much shorter due to his size. But all and all he warms my heart

I have 3 kids that Johnny loves dearly. He definitely is attached to my oldest son. He knows I am his mama. We have two cats that aren't too fond of him. So typically keep them separated. Johnny has been taught to use communication buttons. So it's been awesome to see his progress journey. He's also been the rock I needed as my husband was hospitalized for a month. The best dog I've ever had!

Lost my business due to Covid. My husband has severe mental illness (schizophrenia) and hospitalized for a month. Recovery after release is lengthy. My kids distance learning and only receiving 247 of UI benefits isn't beneficial toward my vet visits for him.

Johnny is due for his second rabies shots heart medication and sadly we need flea treatment for him. It seems he brought some unwanted friends in from the yard. He's very itchy and his coat has gotten mangie from scratching. I've tried treating it myself, but it's infected the cats also as well. Johnny is due for a visit and since losing my business due to Covid, I can't afford it at this time.
