About this campaign

My boy Jonesy was a stray I took in last summer in 2023. He was very small when I found him at roughly8 weeks old. I named him Jonesy after a character in my favorite murder mystery show, Midsomer Murders. One of the detectives is Ben Jones and his nickname is Jonesy. The detective is a handsome man with brown hair. So that's how my handsome brown tabby kitten got his name.

Jonesy is a very laid back little guy who loves his momma and likes to sleep on my chest. He loves kneading on my neck while he purrs really loud. He gets along with all his other cat friends and doggie friends. He never played a whole lot as a young kitten. He was very docile. But he occasionally would have a burst of energy and play.

Jonesy and I are very bonded. When I found him, it was not long after I lost my favorite cat to FIP and feline leukemia. His name was Cookie. He was a black and white boy who was such a goofy cat. He would also lay and sleep on my chest. Losing him was heartbreaking. The instant bond I felt with Jonesy made me think I either got a little piece of Jonesy back or Jonesy sent this little boy to me.

Unfortunately, they ended up more alike. Jonesy also has FIP and feline leukemia. I contacted FIP Warriors and started treatment with the new drug that cures FIP. He has to go through 84 days of treatment. His bills include medication and bloodwork. Please help me save this special little boy. His goes to the Nicholas Animal Hospital in Summersville, WV. Donations can be called in at 304-872-5030.

I am disabled and live on a fixed income. I lost my Cookie and don't want to lose my Jonesy to this as well. The treatment is known to work and with your help I can give Jonesy a longer life than my Cookie had. I want to save Jonesy in honor of Cookie. Please help my Jonesy!
