Joseph is a 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Saint Louis, MO, who needs $500 for Surgery on his Mouth.

This is JoJo. Or Joseph as we call him. We fostered him through a local APA. He was born into a fighting circle and would have been a fighting dog. He ran away and was trapped in a back yard. He was taken to the APA, and he had a hard time at the shelter. When we went to foster I asked, give me the dog that NEEDS out of the shelter. And they brought me JoJo. Head was down, tail tucked.

JoJo loves a bone. He loves to just chew and get to the yummy center. Well he was chewing on a bone we got for him and he slipped, and the bone cut him from the back molar, all up the back molar and down. Like and L shape cut on his back molar. He needs surgery to close this. I owe my vet and he doesn't want to help, so here I am.

Joseph has drastically changed since becoming part of our pack. He is a happy, boisterous boy who loves to play. He is one tofay the greatest cuddlers in the world. Curls up on my hip and passes out. He has become my shadow and my protector.
