Journey is a 6-year-old Lab mix Dog in Alto, GA, who needs $1,066 for Amputation Extremity.

We rescued Journey in December of 2021. She has been a blessing to our family. She came at a time that our other lab was having severe separation anxiety. Since having Journey in our home he hasn’t had any issues at all. She also helps me cope with my depression and anxiety. She deserves to live a long happy life!!

Even through Journeys injury she is playful and joyful. She has the sweetest disposition you will ever see. Even tho she has a bad fracture and is in pain you would never know it. She doesn’t whine or try to bite/snap at you. She just loves you in return. She even still plays with Cooper thru it all.

Oh my goodness. Her personality is like no other. Shes the calm before the storm (Coooer) lol. They complete each other and complete our family. She is so sweet and calm with children. She’s our snuggle bug. She try’s to hang with the big boys and does a pretty good job at it. She deserves a chance to continue to run and play.

On April 6th Journey slipped out of our yard and was hit by a car. We found her a day later. We spent all we had to take her to the emergency vet. Her injury is so severe the only option is amputation. We can not afford any additional treatments or her surgery. We’re praying this fundraiser will help.

I am just starting out on my own and can hardly afford rent and the expenses of daily living. We need Journey to get better. She helps me cope with my depression and anxiety and also is a big asset to my other lab Cooper and his anxiety.
