Jovi is a 2 year old German Shepherd Dog in Sugarland, TX, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Repair Dislocated Hip.

Jovi was rescued from streets in early May 2025 his rescuer did not have time to look into his hip injury or find his people. Said she was considering a shelter. Houston shelters are full and only places doing intake are euthanize only. I have him now. He is very well behaved and trained Very social with people and petsHe was not chipped or neutered I hope he can be well

I took him to vet. His x ray show he has dislocated hip. Long time injury as he has lost muscle and seems to cope with injury
He needs surgery to put hip back and pins to support

Jovi has decided( before we did) that he belongs maybe out of need. Or the trust he has in us.

We have had to carry him in or out but the other day he wanted and was able to get into my suv

Not knowing the extent of injury I could not let him go to shelter very please he ‘fits’i with our family with surgery I know he with thrive and be able to play better with his new siblings
