About this campaign
Juanes is the first dog that I've ever owned. We brought him over from my parents home country of Colombia. His name; funny enough, is the name one of Colombia's most famous rock singer, Juanes. We have had him for ten wonderful years and know that he can give us even more with a little help. He is ten years old and would love for him to keep making us a happy family.
Juanes practically imprinted himself to my mother. He is like a little baby chick that follows his mother. If she stands up he has to as well, if she is in the kitchen then he is at her feet. Although he may follow my mother around he has given my younger sister and I something to love and adore. He calms and relaxes us during times of stress.
We are a family on a budget that could use some financial support during these difficult times of the Corona virus pandemic. Only two members of five in the family are lucky enough to be able to work and provide in these times which is why your support would be very helpful.
Juanes has been a very healthy dog all of his life and a very strong one at recovery whenever other procedures had to be done to him. But at the moment he is suffering through bladder stones that have made it difficult for him to control his urinating. It makes him uncomfortable and it affects his normal life everyday. Some days are better then others but we know he isn't having a good time.
The first thing a stranger may notice about Juanes is his very odd bark. We didn't think anything of it when he first became a part of our lives but when people could come up and he would bark to say hello everyone would burst into laughter at how strange his "seal-like" bark is. His odd vocal range has always made us laugh and smile.
