About this campaign
Jubilee was only 5 months old when she was found lame and roaming alone in Manitoba. Our rescue society paid for her to be examined by a vet there and decided that we could find her a forever loving home. She was flown to BC with some other rescued dogs and seen by one of the vets that we work with. He believes that Jubilee sustained a serious leg injury as a new pup, which healed incorrectly.
Jubilee is a happy, gentle and lovable young girl who is eager to please even though she experiences a lot of leg pain when she walks or weight bears. She is extremely trusting and friendly to all the humans that she meets, considering that she has had a very tough start to her young life at the hands of another human being .
With the surgery performed to heal her leg deformity, Jubilee can live a normal, active, long life. Our rescue organization has several fabulous applicants waiting to adopt her. This precious little girl will soon be given the happy pain-free life she deserves.
Jubilee requires FMO (Femoral Head and Ostectomy) surgery to cure her lameness & allow her to walk normally & without pain again. Our rescue has an estimate for the surgery at Happy Tails Animal Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. Dogs who require medical treatment due to abuse or neglect deserve our help.
Jubilee is a happy young girl who desperately wants to love and be loved. She regularly showed her strength and resiliency and her jubilant demeanor never wavered while she waited to be healed. Unfortunately, Jubilee wasn't lucky enough to be raised by a loving caring family, but her future looks brighter now that she is under our care.
