Juliette is a 4-year-old Lab Shepherd Mix in Lilburn , GA, who needs $1,900 for Total Hip Replacement (THR).

Juliette initially captured our hearts at the county animal rescue in Lawrenceville Ga. She was a very thin Lab Shepherd mix and in need of a lot of TLC and love when we picked her up. It was October of 2019 when we brought her back to our single family home. It took a solid 6 months to get her back up to a healthy weight where she could be an active puppy again.

Juliette is the entire family’s emotional support pet. She is always right there when you have had a bad day, nudging her about under you hand so you can pet her and give her love. It’s taken her 3 years to learn how to wag her tail, but it still goes ina circle instead of back and forth. She’s been with us on vacations, road trips, and present for our wedding I. October of last year.

Juliette’s nickname is Doodie because her breath is so bad. The vet doesn’t think so but, whew! She wags her tail in a circle and greats you at the door by rolling over on her back for belly rubs. She has no spatial awareness and is always stepping on toes and feet. Every little bit makes me smile. You can see her playmate Leia, who doesn’t understand that she can’t play like she used too.

Juliette’s has only been to the vet for checkups prior to last week. She stopped jumping up on the bed and would occasionally yelp when petting her hindquarters. We decided to take her into the VCA Lilburn, GA to doctor Rosenhauer and spent $600 on tests and X-rays. Our consult for surgery is with UGA vet hospital. She needs has severe hip dysplasia and needs surgery in both hips. Plz help us

My wife is an admin and I consult with my own startup company. We can only get loans enough for 25% of the surgery and am hoping there’s someone out there to help save our pet. Doodie hasn’t turned 4 yet and hopefully has many years of love left to give.
