Julio Is In Need Of Funding For Emergency Medical Care!

Julio came to us just a few weeks ago with his littermates. Julio was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a condition that makes him unsteady on his feet. He wobbles, he tumbles, and he gets right back up again. But recently, something terrifying started happening. Julio began having seizures—two in just one week.

Even as his tiny body shakes, he still purrs. It’s nothing short of heartbreaking. This brave boy has a long road ahead. He has a vet appointment soon and a neurology consultation scheduled for the 24th. He’ll need a full workup — bloodwork, advanced testing, and medications to help control the seizures. And that’s just the beginning.

We’ve already learned that Julio’s medical mystery runs deeper than we thought. At 12 weeks old, while his siblings are strong and healthy at nearly four pounds, Julio weighs just 1.8. He’s a fraction of their size. His symptoms don’t fully match his CH diagnosis. The seizures, the slow weight gain, the setbacks — they tell us there’s something more going on.

We’re waiting anxiously for answers, but Julio doesn’t make it easy to relax. Because this morning, he threw us another curveball—a rectal prolapse, which now requires surgery. So here we are again, rallying for our little miracle kitten. As a small rescue, we simply can’t shoulder these bills alone. Now, we are asking for your support.

We are so happy to share some wonderful news about our little miracle kitten, Julio 💙

After everything this tiny warrior has been through—his cerebellar hypoplasia diagnosis, frightening seizures, slow growth, and emergency surgery—Julio is doing so much better. Thanks to the medical care, love, and support.

Julio is stable, feeling good, and showing us his resilient spirit every single day. He still wobbles, he still tumbles… and he still pops right back up, purring as loud as ever. His seizures are being managed, he’s gaining strength, and his sweet, playful personality is shining through more and more.

The next step for Julio is being neutered, and once he’s healed from that procedure, he will be officially ready for his furever home 🏡 He will need a special adopter who understands his CH and ongoing needs, but he has so much love to give and will make an incredibly rewarding companion.
